About us

Le Sac à dos is an organisation which fosters the social and economic reinsertion of homeless individuals and those who are in danger of becoming homeless. In its efforts to provide transitional services geared towards social reinsertion, Le Sac à dos works in partnership and collaboration with the available network of community and governmental organisations as well as the population of its immediate surroundings.

In order to carry out its mission, le Sac à dos has created a series of programmes and projects which encourage and support homeless individuals and those in danger of becoming homeless as they strive to take control of their personal situation. These services include: storage lockers, post office boxes, social housing, help in finding employment, workshops, financial advice, and programmes aimed at social and economic reinsertion.

Le Sac à dos is proud of its many accomplishments. We extend our thanks to our many partners who, throughout the years, have continued to believe in us. And we are determined to meet the many challenges that still lie ahead.
